Terms of Service

Effective June 2026

Welcome to tajdīd. These terms ("Terms") govern your use of our website (tajdid.online), our iOS app, and any purchase you make from us (together, the "Service"). By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who we are & who can use the Service

tajdīd ("we," "us," "our") designs and sells handmade fine jewelry. The Service is intended for adults: you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or place an order. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Your account

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen on the website or in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the Service, attempt fraud, or violate these Terms.

Orders & acceptance

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it and, where applicable, charge your payment method. We may decline or cancel an order for any lawful reason — including if an item is unavailable, if there's an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full.

Pricing, taxes & payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and your card is charged in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax, GST/HST, or other taxes are added based on your shipping destination, and any import duties or fees on cross-border orders are your responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we don't see or store your full card details. We try to keep pricing and availability accurate, but errors can happen — if we discover one on an item you've ordered, we'll let you know and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Made-to-order timing

Many pieces are made or sized to order. In-stock pieces ship sooner, while any order that includes a made-to-order piece follows a timeline of roughly two to four weeks before it ships. We'll always show this at checkout. If we can't meet the stated timeframe, we'll contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Shipping & risk

We ship to the addresses we support at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you once the carrier delivers the package to your address. Please give us an accurate, complete shipping address — we can't be responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect address.

Returns

Our Returns & Refunds policy is part of these Terms. In short: orders are final sale, except for pieces that arrive damaged, defective, or not as ordered, which we'll repair, replace, or refund. Nothing in these Terms limits the consumer-protection rights you have under the law where you live.

Our pieces & how they look

Because every piece is handmade, slight natural variations in finish, stones, and dimensions are part of the craft and are not defects. We describe materials and finishes accurately, but the colors and scale you see on a screen may differ slightly from the piece in person.

Rewards program

If you take part in our rewards program, points and perks have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or ended if we change or discontinue the program. We'll honor points already earned in a reasonable way if the program changes.

Acceptable use

Please use the Service lawfully. Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; don't use it to infringe others' rights or post unlawful content; and don't misrepresent your identity. We may limit or suspend access to protect the Service and our customers.

Intellectual property

The tajdīd name, logo, designs, photography, and site content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party services

The Service relies on trusted providers — including Stripe for payments, Apple and Google for optional sign-in, and Apple for app distribution. Your use of those features may also be subject to those companies' own terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties about the Service itself (such as uninterrupted or error-free operation). This does not exclude or limit any guarantee or warranty that applies to the goods you buy under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, tajdīd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Province — to be finalized], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located there — except where the mandatory consumer law of your home jurisdiction gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. If we make material changes, we'll reflect them on this page.
