Privacy Policy

Effective June 2026

This policy explains what tajdīd (“we,” “us”) collects and how we use it across our website (tajdid.online) and our iOS app. We keep data collection to what's needed to run your account, fulfill orders, and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

When you create an account or make a purchase, we may collect:

  • Account details — your email address, and optionally a display name and region preference. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and basic profile from that provider.
  • Orders — your purchase history, shipping name and address, and order amounts, so we can make and ship your pieces.
  • Saved pieces — the items you add to your wishlist.
  • Rewards — loyalty points earned on purchases, tied to your email.
  • Notifications — if you enable push notifications in the app, a device token used only to send you order and account updates.
  • Basic technical data — standard request information (such as device type and approximate region) needed to operate and secure the service.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly under its own privacy practices.

How we use your information

We use the data above to: create and manage your account; process and ship orders; run the rewards program; send transactional emails (sign-in codes, password resets, order confirmations); send the notifications you opt into; and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not show third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that power tajdīd, and only as needed to run it:

  • Supabase — accounts and database (your profile, orders, wishlist, rewards).
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Netlify — website and serverless hosting.
  • Resend — sending account and order emails.
  • Apple & Google — only if you choose to sign in with them.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference, keep you signed in, and hold your saved pieces. The app stores your session securely on your device. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — the storage we use is essential to running the service. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential tracking, we'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your choices & rights

You can review and update your profile, and manage your saved pieces and orders, from your account page or in the app. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account — and the personal data tied to it (profile, saved pieces, rewards, and notification tokens) — directly from the Account screen in the app or on the website. This action can't be undone. We may retain limited order records where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Do not sell or share

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted ads. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state — including California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia and others — you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We extend these core rights to all of our customers, wherever they live. To make a request, reach us through our contact page; we'll verify it and respond within the time your law requires, and you won't be treated differently for exercising these rights.

Canada — PIPEDA & Quebec Law 25

If you're in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA and, in Quebec, under Law 25 — including access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and data portability. The person responsible for the protection of personal information at tajdīd can be reached through our contact page.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires. Order and transaction records may be kept for several years to meet tax and accounting obligations, even after you delete your account.

Children

tajdīd is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
